About Us

Fextel, Inc. was founded in 2008 as a US corporation created to house a growing corporate phone system services business. Our corporate offices are located in St. Petersburg, FL, USA. All support, development and administrative staff are based at this location. We also have dedicated training facilities at our offices where we conduct our training classes for clients from around the world.

For our hosted services, we have two hosted facilities that our services are supplied from: Our primary facility in Tampa, FL, and our secondary facility in Columbus, Ohio. Both facilities have blended internet and telco connections from multiple carriers as well as multiple layers of redundant power backup.



COMPANY DIRECTORS

Matt Florell - President and Founder -
Mr. Florell has over fifteen years experience in building and managing corporate IT systems specializing in corporate phone systems, IP telephony, Customer Relationship Management(CRM) systems, databases, scalable applications and system optimization. Matt is the creator and maintainer of the Open-Source ViciDial Call Center Suite. He has spoken at many conferences such as IT Expo, VON and Astricon about VOIP, telephony techonlogy and Open-Source solutions. Before founding Fextel, Mr. Florell worked as CTO of a dot-com company and as IT Director of a marketing company, as well as having his own successful consulting business. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Carroll University in Waukesha, WI where he graduated with honors.

Michael Cargile - Director of Consulting -
Mr. Cargile has over nine years experience working in IT consulting in many different areas including call centers, CRM systems and VOIP systems. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York.

James Pearson - Director of Hosting -
Mr. Pearson has over eleven years experience in Management and IT consulting. Before working at Fextel, James worked as an IT consultant as well as Operations Director at an engine remanufacturing company.
